Chowan University has hired LeAnne Crabtree to serve as admissions counselor.
Crabtree, originally from Windsor, is a 2016 Chowan graduate with a degree in humanities studies.
While a student, Crabtree was involved in the Student Government Association and Campus Ministry. Through Campus Ministry, she participated in local, national and international mission trips. She was also a residence hall chaplain, a member of Pi Gamma Mu and Kappa Delta Pi, and a Who’s Who recipient.
As an admissions counselor, Crabtree will recruit prospective students to Chowan. She will also build relationships with students and their families and do everything she can to make their transition to Chowan smooth.
“I am very excited to share my unique story and give prospective students an opportunity to experience Chowan in their own way and so they can write their own success story,” she said. “I am thankful for this chance to serve our students and our beloved university.”
