To the editor:
The Commissioner of the Revenue provides essential tax administration services to the City of Suffolk as it generates more than $50 million annually for the city’s general fund. The office also provides tax administration support to the commonwealth of Virginia.
Commissioner Susan L. Draper, a certified public accountant with more than 16 years of service in a commissioner’s office, including the last three as the commissioner, is eminently qualified to continue serving as Suffolk’s Commissioner of the Revenue.
Please join me in supporting her bid for re-election.
Thomas A. Hazelwood
