The Lady Saints have now won six games in a row after a 3-0 win at home over Portsmouth Christian School.
Nansemond-Suffolk Academy volleyball team’s record improves to 18-7. Sarah Perdue had 10 kills. Rylee Bono had six aces and 12 points on serve.
NSA is also tied for second place in the third Virginia Independent Schools Athletic Association volleyball poll. The Lady Saints are tied with Peninsula Catholic for second in the Division II rankings. Like last year, NSA has an undersized team but prides itself on fundamentals, which makes them a tough beat game in and game out.
The Lady Saints will play Greenbrier Christian Academy on the road Thursday.
