Player of the Week nominees

Following are this week’s nominees for the Suffolk News-Herald Player of the Week:
- Darran Butts, senior, King’s Fork High School: Butts rushed for 191 yards on just six carries and scored four touchdowns in the Bulldogs’ 53-6 road win over Great Bridge High School. The performance helped King’s Fork to a 5-1 record.
- Olivia Ladehoff, senior, Nansemond River High School cross country: Ladehoff finished 13th overall out 86 participants with a time of 22:46.63 in the fourth Southeastern District cross country meet.
- Addy Greene, sophomore, Nansemond-Suffolk Academy volleyball: Greene had a career-high 17 kills and six aces in the Lady Saints’ win over Norfolk Christian. She had 14 kills, three aces and nine digs against Peninsula Catholic School.
