For me it’s going to Uncork’d around the corner. It’s just a really friendly, local winery. Last year I picked up some seasonal craft beers, like pumpkin spice and Halloween flavors. I really like those kinds of beers.

When the trees change colors, I remember being back in school. I went to school in New York but I live in Suffolk now. To me, it is a beautiful season. When the leaves change, you feel like you’re at home. Especially in Suffolk.

I love to go to the fall bazaars at the churches in Suffolk. I’m always looking for things someone has made that I can make myself. My house is filled with stuff I’ve made.

The main thing for my family has been the Peanut Festival. We used to come from Virginia Beach to the festival. The food, the trucks, the mud races, all that stuff. I’ve got grandkids, and they love stuff like that.
