To the editor:

The Tidewater Winds put on a spectacular concert Thursday evening at the Suffolk Center for Cultural Arts.

Since 1985, the Winds have been performing these free concerts at various venues throughout Southside Hampton Roads. It takes a huge effort to put on these programs, with musicians coming from all over the area to share their talents with the public.

Unfortunately, attendance at our concert was disappointing, with less than half the seats filled. I hope The Tidewater Winds will return to Suffolk, despite the poor showing.

I encourage everyone to watch for their appearance next July and to support these wonderful musicians with your presence.
