Two arrested after stabbing

Police arrested two suspects following an investigation into a stabbing that happened Thursday evening.
The stabbing was reported at 7:30 p.m., and Suffolk police responded to a parking lot in the 400 block of Carolina Road, where an adult male was located suffering from a stab wound, according to a city press release.
The victim, identified as Nathaniel Jerome Hart, 35, of Corapeake, N.C., was taken by ground ambulance to a local hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening.
Fantasia Aimee Lowrance, 33, of Gates, N.C., was arrested on charges of malicious wounding and shoot, stab, cut or wound. Reshawn Phillips, 40, was arrested on a charge of malicious wounding.
The subjects were known to each other, the press release stated.
