A Suffolk man was arrested and charged with possession of heroin with intent to distribute following police executing a search warrant on Thursday morning.

The Suffolk Police SWAT team executed the warrant for the Special Investigations Section in the 1800 block of White Marsh Road, according to a city press release.

Qasim S. Azeezuddin, 53, is being held with no bond, according to the release. More charges are possible and pending, the press release stated.

“As a result of the search of the property, evidence consistent with the distribution of heroin was recovered from the residence to include heroin ready for distribution and heroin that had not yet been packaged,” the release stated.
