Police seek clues in carjacking

The Suffolk Police Department is seeking the public’s assistant in locating a vehicle stolen Monday morning in a carjacking.
The crime was reported just after 2 a.m. when two citizens reported they were parked along the roadway in the 300 block of York Street.
The victims reported that two black male offenders, one displaying a handgun, approached them and stole the car. The first suspect is described as a dark-skinned black male wearing a dark-colored hoodie, red hat and shoulder-length dreadlocks. The second suspect was dark-skinned, wearing a dark-colored hoodie and had a short fade haircut. The suspects had thin builds and were believed to be between 15 and 17 years old.
The stolen vehicle is a 2006 Honda Accord, metallic gray in color, with gold rims, bearing Virginia plates XHA-8247. The back window of the vehicle has gold letting that says “Slum Lordz,” and there is also white lettering that says “Artistic Father.” An Atlanta Falcons decal is on the back bumper.
