Missing women located

UPDATE: Police say the two missing women have been located safe.

Earlier: Suffolk police are seeking the public’s assistance locating two missing, endangered women.

Pittard

Martha Pittard, 52, and Gloria Ellis, 65, were reported missing by their case manager, according to a city press release. They were last seen on St. James Avenue about 5 p.m. Monday and may have gotten into a black car, according to the release.

Pittard is described as a white female, 5 feet, 6 inches tall, 160 pounds, with shoulder-length brown hair. She is intellectually disabled and also suffers from a medical condition that requires medication. It is unknown if she has the medication with her, making her endangered.

Ellis is described as a black female, 5 feet, 4 inches tall with salt-and-pepper hair. She usually walks with a cane and suffers from a medical condition that requires medication. It is unknown if she has her medication, also making her endangered.

The women have been known to frequent Nancy Drive in Suffolk and also known to stay in Norfolk.
