Following are this week’s nominees for the Duke Automotive-Suffolk News-Herald Player of the Week:

• Daijah Norris, senior, Nansemond River High School soccer: Norris had a hat-trick against Warwick High School to secure a PenSouth regular season title for the Lady Warriors.
• Cydney Nichols, senior, King’s Fork High School soccer: Nichols scored five goals for the Lady Bulldogs, helping them to a 2-0 week and clinching the Conference 17 title.
• Delaney Taylor, senior, Nansemond-Suffolk Academy softball: Taylor went 3-4 with four RBIs in the Lady Saints TCIS tournament title win. She went 3-3 with two runs and five RBIs in the Lady Saints win over Atlantic Shores.
