Nansemond River High School’s girls’ tennis team defeated Menchville High School on Wednesday in the PenSouth tournament semifinals.

The Lady Warriors continue to roll through their season as they head for the PenSouth championship. Win or lose, the Lady Warriors will still have an automatic bid to regionals for winning the regular season.

They will face Kecoughtan High School today at 2 p.m. at Huntington Park tennis courts in Newport News. The Lady Warriors are heavy favorites to win the tournament.
