Police investigate Circle K robbery

Suffolk police are asking for help from the public in identifying a man who robbed a convenience store early Thursday morning.
Officers were called to the scene at 1 a.m. after a man entered a Circle K convenience store in the 800 block of West Washington Street, displayed a knife and took an undetermined amount of cash from a register, according to a city press release. The man then fled on foot.
There were no injuries in the incident.
The suspect is described as a white or very light-skinned black male in his mid-20s, about six feet tall, with an average build. He was wearing a grey Nike hoodie, a black partial face mask with skulls on it, black jogger pants, green and black coverings on his hands and sunglasses.
