Winoski earns second-place finish

During the recent Level 4 State Championships, the World Class Gymnastics boys’ team hit the mark.

Christopher Winoski took his place on the podium, clinching second-place all-around in the USA Gymnastics State Championships.

Christopher scored and placed on floor, 9.2, sixth place; pommel horse, 9.9, third place; still rings, 9.6, second place; vault, 9.4, second place; parallel bars, 9.8, third place; and high bar, 9.5, third place. This performance gave him a second-place all-around score of 57.4.

William Ryan placed 10th on vault, with an 8.7. He and Z’Yiidee Rivera-Murillo, who did not compete due to injury, qualified for the state championships.

Ten new Level 4s begin class this week in hopes of walking in their teammates’ footsteps or blazing trails of their own.
