The Suffolk Parks and Recreation Department will hold its annual March of Dimes bass fishing tournament from 6:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 6 at Lone Star Lakes Park.

The entry fee is $30 per boat with $10 of each entry fee to be donated to the March of Dimes of Southeastern Virginia.

Participants will meet at 6:15 a.m. at the Butler Tract boat ramp at Lone Star Lakes Park. All lakes that have a boat ramp are open for the boat tournament.

Children 10 and older are welcome to join but must be accompanied by an adult. A fishing license is required for participants ages 16 and older. There is a three-person maximum per boat.
