Last Sunday I had the great pleasure of attending the fourth and final sold-out performance of Shrek The Musical at the Suffolk Center for Cultural Arts.

This award-winning musical comedy was presented by Renee Perry Mitchell of RPM Dance and featured a cast of 33 exceptionally talented performers, most of whom are students from our community.

The Cultural Arts Center and RPM Dance deserve the highest praise for providing a fabulous entertainment experience and a wonderful showcase for local talent.

]Once again, I was reminded how fortunate we are to have a professional-quality facility in Suffolk that encourages local artists and teachers to display and hone their talents.

Congratulations to the staff of the Cultural Arts Center, the staff and performers of RPM Dance, and the public and private contributors who keep the center alive with their financial support.
