Lady Saints continue to roll

Nansemond-Suffolk Academy’s softball team went 2-0 for the week after it defeated Norfolk Christian Wednesday afternoon.
The Lady Saints have now improved to 12-2, as they got their win Wednesday against Norfolk Christian. Pitcher Reese Byrd had 10 strikeouts but did give up a home run. NSA won back-to-back games, as they beat Peninsula Catholic on Tuesday at home. Madi Currin and Gabby Infranco had two RBIs each.
In the recent VISAA Division II softball polls, NSA remained at No. 2, right behind fellow Tidewater Conference of Independent Schools opponent Greenbrier Christian. NSA will face Norfolk Academy on the road at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday.
