IW seeks entrepreneur to honor

The Isle of Wight County Economic Development department has opened nominations for the 2017 Entrepreneur of the Year Award.
Since 2005, Isle of Wight County Economic Development has been honoring a county business owner as Entrepreneur of the Year in conjunction with its annual Business Appreciation celebration. The winner will be announced at the May Board of Supervisors Meeting.
Previous winners include Lee Duncan, Wharf Hill Brewing Co.; Danny Hughes, The Hughes Agency; Travis Latimer, Travis’s Auto; Mike Adams, Bon Vivant Market; Kirk Ring, Ringo’s Donuts; Dr. Ryland Edwards, The Oaks Veterinary Clinic; Tommy and Dee Dee Darden, Darden’s Country Store; and Carol Jordan, Sesroh Tack Shoppe.
