King’s Fork High School’s girls’ soccer team dropped its first game of the season 3-1 against Hickory High School Thursday evening. Cydney Nichols scored the only goal for the Lady Bulldogs on the day. The game was tied at 1-1 for most of the game before Hickory had two players score goals in the last two minutes of the game, giving them the victory.

King’s Fork will play Western Branch at home at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.
