Ashley Nicole Lauder, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. Scott Lauder of Smithfield, and Carrol Landon Howell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Howell of Suffolk, were joined together in marriage on Jan. 7, 2017.

Because of the inclement weather, both the ceremony and reception were held at the Hilton Garden Inn, Suffolk Riverfront.

Ashley and Landon are alumni of Nansemond-Suffolk Academy, Class of 2010.
