King’s Fork High School plans to have another weekend filled with action-packed basketball this weekend. The Kennel will host a showcase that will feature two games being played on Friday and will have four games played on Saturday.

On Friday, the Lady Bulldogs are scheduled to take on Wilson in a Conference 17 matchup. Following that game, IMG Academy, the No. 1 team in the country for boys’ basketball, will face off against I.C. Norcom High School right after.

IMG is based out of Florida and features Trevon Duval and Silvio De Sousa. Duval is the No. 1 ranked point guard in the class of 2017 and a McDonald’s All-American selectee, while De Sousa is within the top 10 nationally ranked players in the class of 2018. Emmitt Williams will also be a player to watch for IMG, as he is ranked within the top 25 nationally in the class of 2018.

On Saturday, King’s Fork will host four exhibition games starting at 3 p.m. The Bulldogs will be the only Suffolk team featured on Saturday as they will take on Hertford County. IMG will play their second game in a row at King’s Fork Saturday night as well. Teams hail from all over Hampton Roads and North Carolina. George Wythe and John Handley each hail from the Richmond area.

Admission will be $6 for adults and $3 for children on Friday. On Saturday, admission will be $10 for adults and $6 for children.
