Dr. Samantha Nicole Milteer and Mr. Arthur James Ware Nash were married on Dec. 16, 2016, at Antioch Baptist Church in Varina.

The private ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Dr. James Sailes. A family-style luncheon commemorated the ceremony at Tanglewood Ordinary in Goochland.

The bride is the daughter of the late Maurice Milteer and Betty Jean Milteer. The groom is the son of the late Milton R. Nash Jr. and Jacqueline Jackson Nash.

The bride is the director of institutional effectiveness and research at Virginia Union University. The groom, a U.S. Air Force veteran, is a consultant with Verizon.
