John Milton Shivers, 85, died on Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2017. The celebration of life service will be held at noon Monday, Jan. 16, 2017, at Little Zion Baptist Church, Smithfield. Public viewing will be held at Shivers Funeral Chapel, Sunday, Jan. 15, 2017, from 2 to 5 p.m., with family and friends’ reflections from 4 to 5 p.m.
