Nansemond River High School’s girls’ basketball team lost to William Fleming 54-45 in the King’s Fork Showcase on Saturday.

William Fleming led for much of the game, and a late second-half push by the Lady Warriors was too little and too late.

Nansemond River moves to 6-2 on the year and will travel to Charleston, S.C., for a Christmas tournament on Dec. 28.
