Three injured in Route 460 crash

Three people were injured in a crash at the intersection of Route 460 and Kings Fork Road on Friday afternoon.
The crash happened at 2:56 p.m., according to a city press release. It involved a Dodge Caravan, a commercial box truck and a Suffolk Public Utilities truck.
The driver of the Caravan was taken by ground ambulance to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. A passenger in the Caravan was taken to Sentara Obici Hospital. The driver of the Suffolk Public Utilities vehicle was also taken to Sentara Obici Hospital. All three had injuries not considered life-threatening, according to the release.
A passenger in the Public Utilities vehicle and the driver of the commercial box truck were not injured.
The roadway was closed for about an hour, according to the release. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
