Frances Morgan Boone

Frances Morgan Boone, 80, of 378 Collier Crescent, Suffolk, expired Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2016, at her residence. She was a native of Corapeake, N.C., and the daughter of the late Booker T. Morgan and Ruby G. Morgan. She was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Boone Sr.; her son, Ricky T. Boone; three sisters, Sarah E. Morgan, Linda R. Brown and Ruby M. Eason; four brothers, James Morgan, Booker T. Morgan Jr., William K. Morgan and George B. Morgan.

She retired as a domestic worker. She was a member of Zion Tabernacle Baptist Church of Corapeake, N.C., where she was a member of the senior choir.

She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Rachel B. Jones (Felton), of Woodbridge, and Connie Frances Boone Wiggins, of Suffolk; three sons, Bobby L. Morgan, of Portsmouth, Larry T. Morgan (Teresa), and James E. Boone Jr. (Dawn), both of Suffolk; two sisters, Beulah M. Gary, of Hampton, and Nina M. Saunders, of Norfolk; one brother, Sandrus H. Morgan, of Suffolk; nine grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 21, 2016, at Zion Tabernacle Baptist Church, Corapeake, N.C., officiated by the Rev. William Norman. Interment will be in in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 20, 2016, at Crocker Funeral Home. Professional services with dignity have been entrusted to Crocker Funeral Home Inc.
