Nansemond-Suffolk Academy’s girls’ volleyball team defeated Cape Henry 3-0 on Thursday. NSA won its home opener and is looking to continue to build on that success.
“We had an excellent serving night with 14 aces,” coach Robyn Ross said. “Our offense was productive with 30 kills.”
The Lady Saints had been focusing on improving serving and offensive production. With their serves, they wanted to focus on getting their opponents out of their offensive system. NSA wanted to be more powerful offensively and end points with their offense.
