In his pursuit to gain hands-on marketing skills and real world experience in the healthcare field, Dan Page, a senior majoring in Healthcare Management at Appalachian State University, in Boone, N.C., has been working as an administrative intern for the last eight weeks at Lake Prince Woods.

Some of the projects Page has been involved in at Lake Prince Woods included writing educational blogs, contributing to the summer newsletter, holding interviews with residents and participating in numerous activities with the residents and staff.

“I have thoroughly enjoyed this administrative internship and have gained valuable experience working alongside the residents and staff, which will enable me to pursue further challenging roles and positions in the healthcare marketing field prior to graduation,” Page said.
