Hurley named to Tufts dean’s list
Michaela Hurley of Suffolk has been named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at Tufts University in Medford, Mass.
Hurley is a rising senior at the school.
Dean’s list honors require a semester grade point average of 3.4 or greater.
Eight from area graduate from Longwood
Among the spring 2016 graduates of Longwood University in Farmville were the following local students:
- William Kenneth Fancher of Suffolk, who was awarded a Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude;
- Rachel Elaine Baines of Suffolk, who was awarded a Bachelor of Science degree;
- Kristin Nicole Goodwin of Suffolk, who was awarded a Bachelor of Science degree, cum laude;
- William Kenneth Fancher of Suffolk, who was awarded a Bachelor of Science degree, magna cum laude;
- Hannah Elizabeth Miller of Suffolk, who was awarded a Bachelor of Science degree, magna cum laude;
- Manuel Arnold Dwyer of Suffolk, who was awarded a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree, magna cum laude.
- Kiara Aslinn Anthony of Suffolk, who was awarded a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree;
- And Leigh Ann Jones of Windsor, who was awarded a Master of Science degree.
