Matthew B. “Bryce” Strong, 20, passed away on June 27, 2016. He was born in Portsmouth to Mark and Lisa Strong. Bryce was a 2014 graduate of Nansemond River High School. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, riding his cruiser and hanging out with his closest friends.

Along with his parents, left to cherish his memory are brother Zach (Sarah); maternal grandparents, Forest and Janice Anderson; nieces, Novaleigh and Karleigh; nephew, Mason; and many numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A funeral service will be held at noon Friday, July 1, 2016, at Baker-Foster Funeral Home, 5685 Lee Farm Lane, Suffolk, with Pastor Connie McDonald officiating. Burial will follow at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday, June 30, 2016, from 6 to 8 p.m. Condolences may be offered at www.bakerfoster.com.
