Sera-Brynn has retained its elite ranking in the Cybersecurity Ventures list of top cybersecurity firms in the world, remaining No. 1 in Virginia and moving up to No. 10 in the United States on the strength of its holistic risk management services.
In addition to remaining top among 40 Virginia cybersecurity firms in the Cybersecurity 500 list for the second quarter of 2016, Sera-Brynn was listed as the 16th hottest and most innovative cybersecurity firm in the world. The list was released this week.
“Addressing cyber security requirements and response activities is more and more becoming a community-based approach,” Sera-Brynn CEO Rob Hegedus said.
“From the very beginning, Sera-Brynn believed the best way to protect businesses and organizations from the increasing onslaught of cyber threats and regulatory requirements was through a team effort with the legal, insurance and financial services industries. Our approach continues to be validated by this rapidly changing market, and our position within the Cybersecurity 500 is another indicator that we’re on the right track.”
“In 2016, we are placing a greater emphasis on ‘pure play’ cybersecurity firms that focus mainly on advisory, consulting, specialized staffing and support services,” said Steve Morgan, founder and CEO at Cybersecurity Ventures and Editor-In-Chief of the Cybersecurity 500.
Headquartered in Suffolk, Sera-Brynn helps clients secure their computing environments, pre- and post-breach, and meet applicable mandatory industry and government compliance requirements.
