Rabbi Jehu August Crowdy Jr., executive leader of the Church of God and Saints of Christ, passed this life on Sunday, April 10, 2016. He was the executive leader of the Church for 14 years following his predecessor, Rabbi Levi Solomon Plummer.

Rabbi Crowdy is survived by his wife, Christel; children, LaToia, Taylor, and Jehu III; sister, Jesyl Crowdy-Volkens; brother-in-law, Elder Asher Volkens; nieces, Leah Mattie and Rachel Lovey; and mother, Sylvia W. Crowdy; an aunt, Mary Elizabeth Crowdy; cousins, relatives and friends. He leaves to cherish his precious memory a host of devoted congregants throughout the United States, Africa and Jamaica.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, April 20, 2016, at 4300 Judah Lane, Suffolk, VA 23435.
