Rita Denise Wilkins Wilson, 61, passed on Sunday, March 13, 2016, at her residence.

A service of celebration will be held at noon Thursday, March 17, 2016, at New Hope Baptist Church, 4260 Pughsville Road, Suffolk. Public viewing will be held on Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Shivers Funeral Chapel, Smithfield, and one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the church.
