Somebody in Suffolk got lucky — a million times over — on New Year’s Eve.
One of three $1 million winning tickets in Virginia’s New Year’s Millionaire Raffle Lottery was sold at Oliver’s Store, 1328 Holland Road, according to the Virginia Lottery. The other two were bough at a 7-Eleven in Hayes and at a Sheetz in South Boston.
An employee at Oliver’s Store said no one had mentioned a lottery win on Saturday.
Four of six $25,000 winners were sold in Hampton, Norfolk, Chesapeake and Yorktown. The other two were sold in northern Virginia.
