Police seek robbery suspect

Police are seeking the public’s help in determining suspects in a robbery that took place Saturday morning.

Employees at the Bojangles’ in the 3600 block of Bridge Road reported the robbery at 5:55 a.m. They said the robbery entered the business, made his way behind the counter and displayed a handgun. He then fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. There were no injuries.

The suspect is described as a black male with his face covered, 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall, with a thin build, wearing a gray, long-sleeved T-shirt and dark jeans.

Anyone who has information is asked to call Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP or text the keyword SPDVATIP and the tip to 274637 (CRIMES). Tipsters never have to give their names or appear in court, and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
