A Suffolk man on Wednesday pleaded guilty to five charges related to three incidents of inappropriate touching of female juveniles.
Lakeith Pierre Arrington, 22, pleaded guilty to three counts of sexual assault and battery and two counts of assault and battery. Three other charges were not prosecuted as part of the plea agreement.
Arrington was arrested in September 2014, shortly after the third incident happened. He was 21 at the time of his arrest.
During the hearing, prosecutor Marie Walls summarized what the commonwealth’s evidence would have been had the case gone to trial.
The victims were 12, 14 and 16 years old, each in a separate household of family friends where he was staying overnight, Walls said.
“He sort of vacillates in and out of his home,” she said. The mother of one of the victims said she did not allow Arrington to stay overnight but that a young man in the house brought him in without her knowledge because he said he had locked himself out of his house.
In each case, Arrington went into the girl’s bedroom and fondled her legs and buttocks. Each girl later told her parents what happened.
Sentencing is set for Nov. 20.
