Maniya Lynn Davis, 4, has been chosen as a state finalist in the National American Miss Virginia pageant, to be held July 30 at the Hyatt Regency in Reston.

The National American Miss Pageant has 5 different age divisions. Maniya will be participating in the Princess age division along with other young ladies from across Virginia.

Maniya is the daughter of Lenora Parker and Deon Davis. She loves ballet, tap and animals.

The winner of the pageant will receive a $1,000 cash reward, the official crown and banner, a bouquet of roses and air transportation to compete in the national pageant in California. In addition, she will receive a complimentary tour of Hollywood and VIP tickets to Disneyland.
