To the editor:

I would like to thank Congressman Randy Forbes for his support of the Permanent Internet Tax Freedom Act. This bill keeps access to the Internet tax-free by permanently banning any state or local government from imposing sales taxes on monthly payments for Internet service.

I don’t agree with Mr. Forbes on everything, but keeping Internet access tax free benefits all Americans and is something we should be able to agree on, regardless of what political party we belong to.

At a time when our leaders in Washington seem so detached, it’s good to see that our congressman is still looking out for the average American.
