Bon Secours Hampton Roads has reported its 2015 5K for Colon Cancer Awareness and 1-Mile Fund Walk, held in Harbour View last weekend, raised more than $20,000 for local sufferers of the disease.

Proceeds are donated to the Bon Secours Maryview Foundation Cancer Fund, to provide care to colon cancer patients.

Registrations included 441 for the 5K, and 69 for the walk. Folks also received information, free screenings and giveaways at the race expo.
