William D. “Bill” Pollard Jr.  has joined Virginia Commonwealth Bank as a senior vice president for commercial banking.

Pollard has more than 28 years of career banking experience and will work from the Suffolk branch at 1703 N. Main St.

Pollard is active in the community through Rotary International, where he has held various leadership positions. He is a Past District Governor for Rotary District 7600 that includes Rotary clubs in central and southeastern Virginia.
