Postseason basketball plans continue to be redrawn for Suffolk’s public schools and Nansemond-Suffolk Academy due to the onslaught of inclement weather.

 

If play on Thursday is possible, the following schedule has been established:

Virginia Independent Schools Athletic Association Division II girls’ state quarterfinal

5 p.m. – Walsingham at Nansemond-Suffolk

 

The VISAA Division II state semifinals are set to begin in Charlottesville on Friday. Should schools not be able to play their quarterfinal games by then, the state committee could choose to automatically advance the higher seeds to the semifinals. This would mean NSA would advance.
