Linda Marie Woolman

Linda Marie Woolman, 58, of Smithfield, died at home Saturday, Jan. 17, 2015, after a short, valiant fight with cancer.

Linda was preceded in death by both her father, Howard L. “Lindy” Woolman, and her step-father, Eryk Szajnar. She is survived by her mother, Gusti (Julie) Szajnar; her brother Michael and his wife Mary, of Harrisonburg; and her brother Chip and his wife Lori, of Yorktown.

A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m., on Thursday, Jan. 22, at St. Mary of the Presentation Catholic Church, 202 South Broad St., Suffolk. A graveside service will follow at Historic St. Luke’s Cemetery, Smithfield, and a reception will be held at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 300 Smithfield Blvd., Smithfield.

In lieu of flowers, Linda requested donations be made to St. Mary of the Presentation Catholic Church, 202 South Broad St., Suffolk.
