Alberta Ricks, 81, died Friday, Dec. 19, 2014, at her residence. A visitation will take place on Monday from noon to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. A celebration of life service will take place at 11 a.m. on Tuesday at Macedonia AME Church, and she will be laid to rest at  Carver Memorial Cemetery.
