Suffolk Parks and Recreation will hold the 2014 Suffolk Tennis Open for all adult tennis players in October from 4 to 9 p.m. on a date to be determined.

This one-day tournament will be a way for league or recreational tennis players to try out tournament competition. With a round robin format, adults will have at least three matches against different competition.

For tennis players who may not have a whole weekend to commit, this one-day event provides all the same excitement but in a shortened format.

There will also be food and music.

The event will be held at the Howard Mast Tennis Complex located inside Lake Meade Park, 201 Holly Lawn Parkway. The cost is $15 per person.
