A Suffolk man faces an Oct. 2 sentencing on multiple felony convictions after his trial Wednesday in Suffolk Circuit Court.
Maurice Boykins, 27, was convicted of attempted murder, malicious wounding, destruction of property and various firearms charges in connection with a Dec. 20, 2013 shooting that injured two people at a shopping center on West Constance Road and damaged vehicles and buildings.
Neither of the victims’ injuries were considered life-threatening, according to a city spokesman at the time.
