School and law enforcement officials are investigating threats toward other students allegedly made in a Mack Benn Jr. Elementary School student’s diary.
Another student saw some things the female fifth-grader had written in her personal notebook, which she had with her at school on Wednesday, school division spokeswoman Bethanne Bradshaw said. The student told the teacher, and the school started an investigation and contacted police after meeting with parents, Bradshaw said.
The girl has been suspended pending an administrative hearing, where further consequences will be considered, Bradshaw said.
