A lauded band made up of four teens has been added to the lineup for Saturday’s CE&H Ruritan Club’s Beer, Bands and BBQ, according to organizer Jason Gould.

Voted Best Teen Band by VEER Magazine, The UnXpected’s four young musicians met at the Academy of Rock in Newport News. They play blues and classic rock.

The Ruritans’ annual fundraiser, from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Ruritan Hall, 8850 Eclipse Drive, will also feature The Bill Miles Band, Stolen and The Shotgun Blues Brotherhood.

Tickets are $25 in advance at the Sonoco at 1600 Bridge Road or Rio Grande Traders in Driver, 3049 Kings Highway, and $30 at the door. Gould can also be contacted for tickets, at 803-8487.
