Saints fall in TCIS quarterfinals

The Nansemond-Suffolk Academy boys’ lacrosse team fell 10-9 to Bishop Sullivan Catholic High School in the Tidewater Conference of Independent Schools tournament quarterfinals on Tuesday.
Saints sophomore Addison Peak led his team in scoring with three goals. Junior Whit Riddick, senior Jacob Edwards, senior Brandon Witherow, sophomore Noah Serianni, sophomore Morgan Wentz and freshman Tanner Jackson each scored one goal apiece.
To end the regular season on Friday, NSA defeated host Hampton Roads Academy by the score of 8-6.
Witherow scored thrice and Wentz twice, while Edwards, Jackson and senior Michael Tyler Lepore scored once each. Riddick had three assists.
Saints senior goalkeeper Daniel Hotte had 10 saves.
