Law enforcement are seeking a suspect in an armed robbery that took place Sunday.

The victim awoke about 11:13 p.m. at her home in the 700 block of Battery Avenue to find a man had entered the home, demanded money at gunpoint and held her and another person against their will.

The suspect has been identified as Javance Brown-Trisvan, 25, whose last known address is in the 600 block of Forest Oak Lane in Suffolk. He is described as 5 feet 9 inches, 160 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
