A fourth-grader at Creekside Elementary School has been suspended pending a disciplinary hearing after an incident that happened last month.
The boy allegedly held pencils between the knuckles of his fingers and raised his hand, stating he was going to stab a school administrator, according to city spokeswoman Diana Klink.
The administrator had the student in the office processing a referral from a previous incident, school division spokeswoman Bethanne Bradshaw said.
The boy’s parents were called to the school, and prosecution was declined, Klink added.
